Awesome, love it
This is an incredible restaurant. Highly recommend it.
Everything on the menu is excellent! Great service!
This is the best Italian restaurant in Winnipeg!
Amazing and wonderful staff. The cooks and servers are awsome.
Owners are great too!
FOOD IS FANTASTIC!!!
Best Pizza I have ever experienced and I do mean the best bar none (148 countries and counting)and that includes 14 cities in Italy.
Hope your time is worth nothing! It better be if you want to wait 2 hours to have your order served. UNEXEPTABLE! Had dinner here last night with long-time friends with the intentions of a good meal and a good visit. Had neither! Had reservations- and was seated between the kitchen and washrooms and next to a table of many people having a function and we couldnt even hear each other talk.
I ordered the SALSICCE. A homemade Italian sausage sauted with red peppers, onions, fresh herbs, olive and garlic, served with penne. No where in that description are the words Warning this dish may be so spicy hot you may not want to eat it. My companion also ordered this and she agrees there must have been an error in the kitchen - as this was crazy hot. Asked for the left-overs to be bagged for take home (I really wanted to analyze the ingredients under my kitchen light.) Alas! chili pepper flakes (way too many) added. Why isnt chili peppers (are they Italian?) mentioned with the rest of the ingredients on the menu.
Ordered a side garden salad which was more than likely pre- proportioned out in the kitchen (or prepared when I came in 2 hours previously) already dressed with balsamic vinegar/oil which caused the salad to have a tart slimy pool in the center. One of my friends ordered a Caesar side salad Interesting - dont remember ever seeing tomatoes and black olives in a Caesar salad.
Complimentary (?) were the warm rolls (with almost the same texture as a bagel) served with balsamic/oil dip (this could have been same dressing as my salad) with the exception of a visible spoon-shaped pile of what appeared to be chopped garlic from a jar. Think they should offer an option of butter or perhaps switch to a soft bread stick if you want to dip.
Total bill for the 3 of us came to approximately $75.00 (not including gratuity.) This was for 3 entrees 1 glass of wine and 1 appetizer ($11). No coffee, no beverages, no dessert
I became very tired of server apologizing not her fault. But ultimately felt the result of the tip/gratuity. We were offered a complimentary dessert but couldnt stay for another 2 hours!
Save your money and your time. The Subway next store sounded pretty good around in the 2nd hour of waiting.
The best of the best! I love this place!!
My relatives and I ordered Pizza's from this Restaurant, it sure wasn't the real Italian kind, we used to go to "Paradise on Poratage Ave.," the food there was just heavenly, people flocked there every night the food was so great! The Bellisimo Pizza didn't have any real Italian sjpices or flavour to it, too bad, we could have become regulars there!!!
Go to "Colloseo" on Corydon Ave., excellent food there, rather small though!
